"The Subtractor can only produce mono sounds"
Are you sure about this? I'm fairly certain you can create polyphonic patches within Subtractor. Not stereo, but multiple voices simulanously.
- That refers to the final output by the device. It only sends out one sound signal, mono. Whereas say NN-XT has a left and right output, making it stereo, Subby does not. - Ferret 01:34, 22 October 2005 (UTC)
The Subtractor is polyphonic (plays more than one note at once) but monaural (sends one channel of audio). Gabriel Roth 19:05, 18 February 2006 (UTC)

Is the whole "you can remove the screws" thing neccessary? Not very informative or noteworthy. Just a bit of trivia.--Jbachman 21:00, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
