Sundanese is not an official language anywhere. It is however recognised as a regional language in most of West Java and Banten. It is therefore also taught in schools. Meursault2004 14:50, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Sundanese has a non-Latin alphabet which is taught in the schools. This should be added to the article. Evertype 17:39, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
