I don't see that the contents of this article are sufficiently distinct from the contents of the Taxonomy article to warrant separation. It seems like taxonomic classification is just what you do to generate a taxonomy. This article lists some different outputs from the process, but no real distinction, IMHO.
It might make sense to specifically describe taxonomic classification in a section of the taxonomy article, however. (If it's not already there.) Paul D. Anderson 01:41, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
