[edit] October 2006

Please cite the book or reference when making subjective statements like the following: "Telugu Brahmins are known for their highest accomplishments in religious, social, economic, political, cultural and scientific endeavors". I am not saying you are wrong. I am just telling you the Wiki recommendations to avoid deletion.
I've added the NPOV tag, as this article appears to be little more than a fluff piece on a specific caste, with very little verifiable research.

If this article isn't fixed, I may suggest it as an Article for Deletion. Kevin 07:25, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

With all due respect, I would say it's not a fluff piece, but the facts listed here are true..I agree that it might need a good verbiage to put in place of the current one. So I would not suggest deleting the article.

Bye the way who are Mr.Kevin ? there are many many articles that are really useless ...go and check them If you need more evidence or stuff plz refer works of Jogendra Bhattcharya, Nilankant Sastry. If you continue to post some NPOV tag you with little knowledge just insulting our community which we can't tolerate.-Pragada

I'm a Wikipedian. It isn't my job to seek out every "useless" article and sort through them by their imaginary rank of usefulness. The fact of the matter is that I am not the only person who has tagged this as POV. Rather than vandalize this page and the article's page, why not spend time improving the article by adding 'neutral' and 'verifiable' sources? I honestly don't care if "your community" is insulted by virtue of intolerance of an article that's self-fulfilling, rather than factual.
Either fix the page, or keep up the vandalism and wait for someone to ban you. Kevin 04:51, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

Mr.Kevin for your kind info i was just removing the NPOV tag from this article.idon't know it comes under vandal....okok

You also deleted the template suggesting that this article be merged. Both are considered vandalism here, when the issue(s) have not been resolved. Kevin 06:18, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] detailed info on people

If the person we are mentioning is a famous person, and known for everyone, why cant we create another page for them, and keep this as a reference list? For instance, Madhavapeddi.

In addition, can we have a person's name listed at a single sublist and give their qualities in their pages? That we can have unique names and provide more info. suggestions. కిరణ్మయి (talk) 22:07, 19 June 2009 (UTC) (Kiranmayee)

I think thats a great idea Kiranmayee! That way, we can expand the substance, or import, of the subject as a category, versus its current status, as Kevin rightly puts it, as a fluff piece. --Gñāna (talk) 14:56, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
