[edit] Untitled

"Tenleytown was a historically black neighborhood until the mid-20th century, when the blacks and the whites pretty much switched sides of the city, with the previously white Anacostia becoming almost completely black, and Tenleytown becoming white" is poorly worded. Discospinster: Your decision to revert the article was a very poor one. As a resident of Tenleytown for the past 13 years, I found the version which you rejected to be more accurate than the version you have chosen. I won't edit the article because I'm not familiar with Wikipedia, but I do believe you have done a disservice to the accuracy and breadth of the entry.

Huh? All Discospinster did was remove linkspam. What are you talking about? --Golbez (talk) 23:19, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
... and was done 4 months ago? --Golbez (talk) 23:20, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Accuracy of the map

The article body does not define borders for the Tenleytown area. The map included with the article shows it as a triangle bounded by Wisconsin Ave., Nebraska Ave., and Military Rd with Tenleytown Circle being at the bottom corner of this triangle. The map does not seem accurate as Google Maps, MapBlast, and MapQuest all show Tenley generally to the left of this triangle and that Friendship Heights spans from the upper left of this triangle and into the triangle area.

The geo-coordinates given point directly at Tenley Circle implying that is the center of the Tenley area.

Can someome who knows the area give it's rough boundaries, or better yet, point to a citable reference to the Tenley area? I've created a new map image and would like to crop it to include just the Tenley area. --Marc Kupper|talk 08:49, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
