Talk:The Firm

This page originally said that the band that wrote "Arthur Daley E's Alright" in 1982 was also the band that wrote "Star Trekkin'" in 1987. I don't think this is necessarily true, from what little I've been able to turn up. Also, the fact that a more major band (the one we have the article The Firm (band) for) showed up in between 1982 and 1987 seems to me to make it likely that the earlier band was defunct at the time the Page/Rodgers band was formed. If anyone can turn up a source that says they're the same band, please re-merge the entries. --TreyHarris 19:40, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

Book of British Hit Singles lists Arthur Daley and Star Trekkin' as being by the same group...... ChrisTheDude 16:29, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

Shouldn't this page have a link to Goldman Sachs?

[edit] Primary topic

It's clear comparing:

  • The Firm (hip hop group): 6876 views [1].
  • The Firm (rock band): 4141 views [2].
  • The Firm (novelty band): 969 views [3].

with:

  • The Firm (1993 film): 18,914 views [4].

That the 1993 film alone has more claim to be the primary topic than the music articles combined. It also has more incoming links. I'm moving the 'film and television' section further up the page as a result. SteamboatBilly (talk) 04:28, 27 December 2010 (UTC)

[edit] Flood Insurance Rate Map

Would it be appropriate to add that FIRM is an acronym for the Flood Insurance Rate Maps? http://www.fema.gov/hazard/map/firm.shtm --Mjrmtg (talk) 15:12, 26 January 2011 (UTC)

It's already included (the last item). Tassedethe (talk) 15:48, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
I must be going blind, I swear I couldn't see it on the list anywhere. Thanks. --Mjrmtg (talk) 15:58, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
