I believe it was only three great nobles, as in Ishin-no-Sanketsu (維新の三傑). Thus this article should be moved or deleted.

I also agree that the topic should be altered to 'Three' instead of 'Five' great nobles. [dm526]


三 means 3, and there were only three.
