Is there a reason that all the hebrew months are still listed as stubs? They look fairly complete to me. I know they're short, but there really isn't a lot to say about a month other than the holidays that fall in it. True but there is more like the biblical events.

Very, true. I'll delete the stub template, becuase it is a very thourough article that deals with everything relevant. Theonlyedge 23:13, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Jewish History

There are many things that happened during each month of the hebrew calendar. I'm working on compiling all that happened for each day of the Hebrew month. This is what I did for the month of Tevet - Tevet#This_Month_in_Jewish_History. Bachur 03:34, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

Is chabad.org a reasonable source for some of these events? They're probably reliable for anything in the last 1000 years, but I've never heard of any long-standing traditions regarding the birthdays of the patriarchs, matriarchs, or Jacob's sons. I have to wonder, given Chabad, if the Lubavitchers just made these dates up at some point in the last 200 years. BeIsKr 04:08, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

Follow-up: If no one responds to this within two weeks, I'm going to go through all the Hebrew month articles and remove any entries from "This Month in Jewish History" that date from before the Common Era and don't have a reference in the TaNaKH, the Apocrypha, or the Talmud to back them up. BeIsKr 17:55, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Common Era dates

I have removed the common era dates from the entries for the sixth day of creation and first sin. The date is not widely accepted as being accurate nor is there conclusive evidence. To be clear I am not saying it is not true I am merely saying that because less than a majority of people/groups can agree then it should not be presented as fact in a dictionary setting.

I did not remove the in article comment about there being no evidence that the first sin happened on the same day (sixth day of creation). At some point this statement should be harmonized with the event happening on the 1st.
