Trivia: Part of the movie (where dustin hoffman returns the ring?) was filmed at the Hurley Mountain Inn:
"In fact, Hollywood scoured the United States for just the right spot to feature in the movie “Tootsie” starring Dustin Hoffman, Bill Murray, Charles Durning and Jessica Lange. Of course, they picked the Hurley Mountain Inn. People still come here today to see where Dustin Hoffman performed his award-winning role."

I was a better man with you as a woman than I ever was with a woman as a man." and she forgives him emphasis mine. while there is a great explanation of the plot, what of the final conclusion? I think it needs to presented in such a way that gives it more importance. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.84.203.53 (talk) 23:28, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

- Saw this well kown film yesterday in germans tv again and it makes me laugh to tears. _because the way Mr. Hoffman plays his female alter ego is real subtil. The mentioned conclusion is an experience of figured mirrowship and therefore its gender at his best.I guess the funny_nes doesn't only depend on the game of changing biology identity, but it#s the how, he does it, anyway.--Danaide (talk) 13:55, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
