[edit] Untitled
I think there are some NPOV problems here. Mcfly85 03:40, 9 August 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Solo article
Vince Neil's solo album, did not go platinum, or even gold. If you don't believe me search the RIAA database. Therefore, that and the comment that it supposedly doubled Motley Crue's self-titled are blatantly false. Also the mention that all previous Motley Crue albums went at least platinum is irrelevant, so I am removing those sentences.
[edit] Continuity
I was reading the article, and first it said something about the sex tape in 1993, then Skylar dying in 1993, then Carved in Stone released 1995, then Generation Swine 1998, then the car accident with Hanoi Rocks drummer 1984...1984????? :P62.107.24.213 (talk) 21:52, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

Jack Cox 19:18, 22 August 2005 (UTC) & Jerzy•t 17:43, 2005 August 24 (UTC), to reflect that there is no such thing as "his Criminal Record"
- _ _ Even if these were all convictions, they would not establish him as a notable crimininal, nor even notable in his criminality.
- _ _ And in what jurisdiction is "Road Rage" the name of a criminal offense? Its use in stating a "criminal record" suggests we have no reason to treat these as derived from police or court records rather than what one reporter per entry considered criminal.
- _ _ BTW, everyone knows what a "criminal record" is, but your attempt to dress his up with caps as "his Criminal Record" reeks of some personal need to impose a PoV on the article. Don't.

[edit] Article needs work
No mention of Vince Neil's son or of his other wives? No mention of his financial difficulties... Monkeybreath 10:09, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re-added External Link To Motley Crue Site
I saw that earlier there was an external link to the offical Motley Crue website in this article, so I re-added it. The official Motley site has information about the subject of the article and he is currently on tour with the band. So it makes sense to me that it is here. (forgot to sign this earlier...) [edit] Info Box
Why was the info box deleted? He is musician and it sums up all major stats in one easy to read area. Most musicians have them. If no one objects with any worthy feedback I will add it again. Blackserenity 14:35, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
cheers. Blackserenity 14:39, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] didnt he appear in a episode of still standing?
Didn't he appear in a episode of Still Standing in a tattoo parlor? I think that was him, can someone make sure. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 166.127.1.201 (talk) 18:12, 4 May 2007 (UTC).
[edit] Where is the info of his sex tape with Janine(porn star)?
I did a Google to find out who the hell is Vince Neil.(sorry for the ignorance I just wanted to know who was this guy that made Janine do straight porn during her only lesbian era). I did a Google and I find the information about the sex tape in the Google short description but when i click on the link it isn't there. I don't think it is libelous, he did the tape; it should be mentioned. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.167.147.77 (talk) 18:56, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Famliy?
I came to learn about how many kids he had, and what their names were. It mentions nothing about his family! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.216.41.56 (talk) 19:57, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Vinceneil22.jpg
Image:Vinceneil22.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Any proof? If he is, really cool.Invisible NoiseΩ 23:21, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Voice type
The "voice type" field in the musical artist infobox template is intended for classical vocalists. This position is supported by Voice type and Voice classification in non-classical music. In the rare instance when a reliable source exists to support a voice type for a non-classical vocalist (i.e. Maria Carey) the source must be provided for inclusion in the infobox. I will revert the entry in this field for this page, if you disagree please comment at the talk page for the musical artist infobox. J04n(talk page) 16:33, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Re-write
This article reads like a poorly written and not at all in order timeline. Someone needs to re-write this garbage. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.240.89.45 (talk) 14:46, 1 September 2009 (UTC)
[edit] How old is this guy?
It seems weird that an encyclopedia entry doesn't even have his Date Of Birth?! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.159.111.98 (talk) 11:13, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
He was born March 8th, 1961 (I believe) - Wolfinator-x —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wolfinator-x (talk • contribs) 01:56, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
[edit] Edit request from GoddamnMan, 23 April 2010
This part should be removed from the article:
and eventually went platinum, doubling the sales of Mötley Crüe's 1994 self-titled album with singer John Corabi (previously of The Scream). All previous Mötley Crüe albums had sold at least one million copies
This is because the first sentence is untrue (as verifiable by the RIAA's searchable database) and the second sentence is irrelevant to this section of the article.
GoddamnMan (talk) 23:53, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
- It's not required that you use Template:editsemiprotected unless you are new user. I will take that part out for you though, but It is your responcibility to defend any arguments from said action. Spitfire19 (Talk) 00:43, 24 April 2010 (UTC)

Can someone please remove the numerous Music for Relief entries in the charity section? My goodness, every single appearance in every single city doesn't need to be listed. Also grammatically wrong in each entry with "host" instead of "hosted".
