Vivasvan and Visvakarman are not the same. Visvakarman literally means 'All-maker', and in early hymns was venerated as the creator (Rig-Veda 10.81-2). Vivasvan was identified with Surya as they are both solar deities and both are claimed to be fathers of the same people. --Grammatical error 08:58, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
