WikiProject. All well and good, but someone might want to do some editing. The vast majority of the history reads like is was written by a rapid fanboy of the station's rock-n-roll days. Damn near bad enough for an NPOV tag.

Also, the lack of anything for almost the past 20 years of its existance is troubling. After lavishing that much attention on WLS' music days, to write off the last two decades as "mostly conservative talk" sounds quite biased. The implication that WLS has no left leaning hosts is factually inaccurate.

[edit] FM Simulcast

I don't know the exact years of operation but WLS simulcast AM and FM on FM 94.7 (if memory serves) in the mid nineties.

They simulcast WLS-AM on 94.7-HD2 today. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.132.233.78 (talk) 09:20, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Information

This article needs much more information on the current station and what is currently on this station instead of history. I will work on it. With help? - Libertyville | Talk 02:19, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Unique "WLS-only" versions section

I grew up in the Chicago area in the seventies and remember WLS AM very well. I created this section to highlight the memories I have and the character of WLS during the late seventies. The 5 I listed are the only ones I remember; there may have been more. Feel free to add to the list. I hope it doesn't get deleted. These songs/versions DID actually exist; I remember very well listening to them. Unfortunately, my memory is the only proof I would have, unless a former engineer and/or personality get to this article to add more/additional info.MJEH (talk) 13:57, 10 September 2010 (UTC)
