A shprakh iz a dialekt... I think cultural considerations are more important here. Not to mention that in their written form, Havasupai and Hualapai have different alphabets; there is a story behind their different alphabets, you may wish to read it before telling the Havasupai and Walapai people they speak the same language.
that means nothing. One could write English in cyrillic, or the greek alphabet, or even mayan heiroglyphics; but it would still be the same language as when you write it in the latin alphabet. --Krsont 00:49, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
