[edit] Extinct or not?

The page for the Arnham Land Rock Rat says nothing of extinction, and, indeed, gives its status as "least concern". Likewise, the Carpentarian Rock Rat is described as "critically endangered". Are these animals extinct? Molinari (talk) 17:38, 11 June 2010 (UTC)

You are quite right; they are not. The former species is "Near Threatened" by now, though. Ucucha 17:49, 11 June 2010 (UTC)
