Firecircle (talk) 05:45, 19 February 2008 (UTC) I noticed that the only article in Wikipedia (that I could find) on this famous man was in French. When I had it translated, it only consisted of one line giving his place of birth, date, and the date of his death--nothing else. So I thought I would put together an article, fairly complete, in English. Firecircle (talk) 05:45, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Firecircle (talk) 04:38, 20 February 2008 (UTC) I'm wondering why Etienne Drioton's last name is not capitalized in the title above the article. I'm sure I capitalized it when I created the article. Can someone correct this? Firecircle (talk) 04:38, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mansoor and Amarna[edit]

The language in the Tell el-Amarna section gets a little heated, especially since the only source cited is from the Mansoor family. There is other scholarship on the subject that has a bit less bias, and the Mansoor collection's status is certainly not settled. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.61.175.155 (talk) 21:09, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Untitled[edit]

Somehow I created this article without capitalizing Drioton's name. Wikized links to this article will not work. Someone please help. Firecircle (talk) 00:12, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Firecircle (talk) 19:07, 27 March 2008 (UTC) Thanks! I know how I made the error now, and will avoid doing it again. And thanks for the help on how to re-title. Firecircle (talk) 19:07, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
