.22 Remington Special[edit]

Just as Marlin Firearms balked at putting ".30 Winchester Center Fire" or ".30 WCF" on their rifle in that caliber (calling it instead the ".30-30), Remington balked at putting ".22 Winchester Rim Fire" or ".22 WRF" on their rifle in that caliber.
