• " Operationally, another was believed to have existed near Galveston, Texas in September" - operationally means at the time, for some sort of warning center. There weren't any warning centers back in 1854. I'm not sure what you're trying to say here. Maybe "at one time, another..."?

• " Hurricane Four caused 4 deaths and approximately $20,000 (1854 USD)" - two things. First, spell out numbers less than ten, and you don't say what anything about the dollars. • Any more info on H4's damage? Maybe do a Google news search? (crazy, but GN does go back that far) Or, try finding a database that has TC impacts for South Carolina, North Carolina, and/or Virginia. We have each of those somewhere around the site (project resources)
