Will start review shortly. Kaiser matias (talk) 16:10, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Why not link Old Trafford in the lead?
    • Done
  • "Queens Park Rangers were Liverpool's fourth round opponents. QPR..." I would include the abbreviation after Queens Park Rangers: "Queens Park Rangers (QPR)
    • Done
  • "As the ground was located in the Crystal Palace Park, supporters had to pay an entrance fee for the park before gaining entry to the stadium." Any idea what the fee was? And was this unusual (paying a fee to watch an FA Cup Final)? The second question doesn't need to be noted in the article, but more for my own curiosity.
    • Looked it up but found nothing unfortunately.
    • Paying a fee to watch the final is not unusual but Crystal Palace was odd as people actually had to pay double: first to get into the park, later to get into the stadium. Although there were some Tarzans around who only did the first thing and climbed in trees outside the stadium to get a glimpse of the action:)
  • "On the morning of the match, Liverpool captain Harry Lowe was ruled out..." Any idea why?
    • Expanded that a bit (it was his left leg that was injured).
  • "Burnley's David Taylor won the 1910–11 FA Cup with Bradford City, while Burnley captain Boyle lost the 1910 FA Cup final whilst at Barnsley." Unless there's a reason I'm not familiar with, I'd be consistent in referring to the FA Cup titles here (either 1910–11 and 1909–10, or 1911 and 1910).
    • Fixed
  • "Coincidentally, King George V was in attendance for the match." Was it actually a coincidence? Or was he invited by someone?
    • I think it was his own decision. The 1913 final was viewed by more than 120,000 people in the stadium and football became bigger and bigger, so the King must have been curious.
  • "One of the people in attendance was Freeman's father, who travelled 13,000 miles..." Add the conversion template to include km as well.
    • Done
  • A few duplicate links in the body of the article (Manchester Guardian, Bradford City).
    • Removed them

Nothing major here, and a well-written article that makes good use of contemporary and modern sources. Once the above are addressed, will be happy to promote. Kaiser matias (talk) 00:38, 28 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
