Notable Events[edit]

Please stop including events such as "X hit home run #100" (or 200 or 300), etc. These events are really only noteworthy if they are applied to a player who establishes a rather high mark in that category. For example, noting the dates of Barry Bonds' 100th, 200th, 300th, 400th, etc home runs MIGHT be noteworthy because he hit a lot of home runs. Doing so for Robin Yount or Luis Aparicio is not a noteworthy event because no one remembers them for that.

I would like to hear if there is any agreement/disagreement on this, but some of these pages are getting over run with minutia. Some of these might be better recorded on individual team pages as important events. TeganX7 03:57, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
