ETS-VII (Orihime)[edit]

After putting Template:verifysource, I got a theory of ETS-VII (Orihime) Decay Date in http://www.astronautix.com/lvs/h2.htm : the last separation/rendezvous/docking experiment ended October 27, 1999, according to the official site. Somebody wrote it as "1999/10/27". And somebody miswrote it as "1999/1/27". Then Encyclopedia Astronautica transcribed it as "1999-01-27". --Fukumoto (talk) 17:20, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Or rather, just a typo by Encyclopedia Astronautica. --Fukumoto (talk) 17:22, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I've found orbital data for August 1999 now[1]. Feel free to change, but don't forget to properly cite your source using footnotes. --GW_SimulationsUser Page | Talk 17:31, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well, to tell the truth, I don't understand the policy. Does it cease to exist as a separate entity when it is docked to something? If that's the case, many parts of Internationa Space Stations has to be noted that way, although they are not, so far. JEM was docked to Space Shuttle, and then docked to ISS. It never existed as a separate entity, if I understand correctly. --Fukumoto (talk) 17:48, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Probably better to discuss at WP:TLS rather than here if you think this is an issue. Personally I don't consider their existance to have ceased, both satellites are still in orbit. Are they still docked now, and if so, do you have a source for that? GW_SimulationsUser Page | Talk 18:55, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
