Let me clarify what I said in the edit summary. Per WP:SEEALSO, we cannot link to things that are already linked in text, so the general link to the Film Festival cannot be there as it's already in the lead. As for the 18th, there's simply no reason to link to that one specifically; it's better just to have all of the links in the template. The first removal is simply not debatable per MOS rules; while the second one could possibly be argued, we'll need some clear explanation for why 1) the template isn't enough and 2) why 18 is more important to be linked than any other in the series.
