Schedule or Fixtures?[edit]

Currently, the page lists the upcoming matches under the header of "fixtures." Because this is the North American SuperLiga, and I don't know any North American English speakers who would use the term fixtures over schedule, I am thinking of changing the heading to "schedule." If you look at the Website of any sports team in North America, you will see a link to a "schedule" rather than a link to "fixtures." I will accept comments for a few days, however, before making a change. --Cougs2000 18:10, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

People in America sometimes use "fixtures" as an affectation... Really, in this case "fixtures" refers to the list of matches, and is the "soccer" term, especially amongst us who prefer to call it "football" and sometimes call griddie the "Mutant Bastard Child of Rugby". MLS refers to its "schedule", which is fine, though a lot of the fans would sometimes call each individual match (not "game") a "fixture". SWalkerTTU 01:31, 4 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox[edit]

Greetings, can someone fix the infobox. The 8 teams are from the same confederation (CONCACAF), but from 2/3 different federations/associations (FMF, USSF, CSA). JC 09:25, 26 Jul 2007 (PST)

Final siting[edit]

If Pachuca advance, they will play away to the winner of the other semifinal. If Houston Dynamo advance by winning, they will host the winner of the other semifinal. If Houston Dynamo advance on penalty kicks, they will go away to LA Galaxy if Galaxy win, but will host the survivor with any other result. This is per SUM determination as described here: http://www.superliga2007.com/headlines/index.html?article_id=132 SWalkerTTU 04:35, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:CF Pachuca.JPG[edit]

Image:CF Pachuca.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Image copyright problem with File:SuperLiga.png[edit]

The image File:SuperLiga.png is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --08:01, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
