Wikilinks to people[edit]

It would be much appreciated if some editors could help check the wikilinks to people and make sure the article points to the proper person. If the wikilink does NOT seem to point to the correct person, I suppose the brackets can be removed or if an editor is feeling bold they could create a new page for that person. Any help would be great. Thanks. --Pixelface 21:28, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unencyclopedic[edit]

the short films into it's own article named 2007 Sundance Film Festival Shorts, but I'm afraid that page may get deleted. --Pixelface 04:29, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I tried reformatting the Jury lists a bit and putting the film lists in hidden tags. This also makes the font a little smaller. I saved it at 2007 Sundance Film Festival/Shorter and left the original intact for now. Let me know what you think. This could also be applied to 2007 Slamdance Film Festival. --Vossanova o< 15:29, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Separate article[edit]

I like what you've done with the jury section and I've updated the article. I like the idea of the hidden tables, but I think I would prefer making a separate article called List of films at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival. I see there's a page called List of Sundance Film Festival selections but the 2007 list may be too long. I don't really like the looks of all the tables I made, but I'm kind of new to them. I could I eliminate the YEAR and RUNTIME or even take the information out of a table altogether and list it like this:

Adrift In Manhattan

..although that will make the list look longer I suppose. I could also write it in sentence form like this:

Adrift In Manhattan[1] is a U.S. film competing in the Dramatic Competition which was directed by Alfredo de Villa and written by Nat Moss and Alfredo de Villa. The film stars Heather Graham, Victor Rasuk, Dominic Chianese, William Baldwin, Elizabeth Peña, Marlene Forte, Richard Petrocelli, and Erika Michels. The film is 89 minutes long. [2]

I think it would be a good idea to put the Awards section on the 2007 Sundance Film Festival page and then have a Films section with nothing but small text that says "For a full list of films appearing at the festival see the page List of films at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival. Then maybe later more info can be added on the more notable films. What do you think? --Pixelface 09:56, 27 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

For now I've created a separate page with all of the films on it. If it ever gets nominated for deletion I might merge the info back onto this page. --Pixelface 10:49, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Works for me.. I'll wait and see what people think about the List article. --Vossanova o< 14:48, 29 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal[edit]

I'm removing the merge proposal tag as it seems each year's Sundance Film Festival has its own article. The tag has been there since September 2013 and I don't see any use of keeping it on the article. No prejudice to a fresh merge request being made. --Lemongirl942 (talk) 07:01, 27 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
