Italian front row[edit]

I make it the first Italian front row since the 1984 Brazilian Grand Prix, which if someone could be bothered to confirm it, or finds a source, would be worth putting in the article. Bretonbanquet (talk) 13:33, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fisichella and Trulli lined up 1-2 for the 2005 Australian Grand Prix... db1987db (talk) 11:42, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well spotted. I was looking way too far back! Bretonbanquet (talk) 11:47, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've added to the notes that it is the first one since then...is that OK? (being bold hehe) db1987db (talk) 11:49, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Also, i've trawled through the Qualifying results since Australia 2005, and it turns out that this is the first same-nation front-row since...AUSTRALIA 2005! db1987db (talk) 12:04, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

To add or not to add, that is the question[edit]

Hi everybody, Lucy-marie just removed my images...

Starting grid of 2009 Belgian Grand Prix
Final result of 2009 Belgian Grand Prix

I have about 200 of such graphics on my HD (covering F1 seasons 2002 to 2009) and originally wanted to upload them all. But if they would not appear in any Wiki article, uploading them doesn't make much sense, as this is very time consuming. So my general question is: Do you think such images are useful enough to illustrate Grand Prix articles or not? I'm open for all opinions. Odor (talk) 19:08, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please, keep uploading your pictures to Commons, I think they can be very useful, especially the start grid. They will always be accessible with the {{commonscat}} template and I think they are very illustrative, especially in races where there are no pictures (2009 Hungarian Grand Prix, for example). I've already added the start grid from the 2009 European Grand Prix to the Spanish Wikipedia article. --201.243.141.238 (talk) 21:44, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
