Criticism section[edit]

The Criticism section is too contentious. Since it has been un-sourced for months I am removing it. A lot of the details have not been made public or confirmed by authorities. Until that happens its too speculative to keep here. - Shiftchange (talk) 01:21, 1 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The re-instated Criticism section contains no criticisms at all. Not one valid concern is expressed by anyone. It is simply a list of security measures. Besides that Criticism sections are discouraged. A url is not considered to be an adequate reference either. - Shiftchange (talk) 08:02, 25 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure how you are affiliated with seeing this event going forward but I believe you should quantify your position in editing this article in removing things which could be construed as critical of the G20. This meeting is contentious. It is right that on a public forum such as wikipedia people know how their rights and liberties will be effected. Criticism sections ARE NOT prohibited or discouraged, and can be legitimately included in articles. I confirm I am not politically affiliated. Can you say the same, Shiftchange? Who do you work for?

Jean-Claude Juncker[edit]

G20 - hyphen or not?[edit]

The official page https://www.g20.org/ doesn't use the hyphen - they consistently refer to the "G20". I suggest that we should do the same. Mitch Ames (talk) 01:54, 16 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I've moved the page and corrected the G-20 to G20 within the article. There are, however, a number of other pages incorrectly using G-20 that still need to be changed across Wikipedia. Tojasonharris (talk) 03:57, 30 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

On 5 February 2015, Maurice Flesier moved the page back to "G20" with the explanation "Harmony for other summit titles." Unless a stronger defense can be made for an error than "harmony," this change should not have occurred. I am, therefore, reversing it and ask that future efforts be put toward correcting this error elsewhere rather than reversing corrections. Tojasonharris (talk) 03:33, 6 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Russian controversy[edit]

The Russian controversy was not due to "pro-Russian actions in Ukraine". It was Russia's invasion of Ukraine. This is not place for pro-Russian euphemisms. The controversy was because of [what is perceived to be] a Russian invasion.Royalcourtier (talk) 00:32, 31 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
