– No clear primary topic, the AD year gets 343 views while the band gets 699, the number (the original meaning and arguably more primary by PT#2) gets 93 views (but doesn't have a separate article) and the BC year gets 55 [[1]]. Boeing 707 gets 39,300, 7 July 2005 London bombings gets 41,419 and Area code 707 gets 5,344, its not clear how often (particually the London bombings) are called "707" but given the large number of views its likely that even if only a few people search for them with "707" they would still displace the AD year. A Google search returns the plane on all the 1st page of results, Google Images also gives many for the plane but also some for the Mystic Messenger character who's article gets 3,354 views. A Google Books also doesn't appear to show anything for the AD year. 706 gets 130 views and 708 gets 121 compared to 343 for 707. A site:wikipedia.org 707 returns the plane then 4 different articles accociated with it then Boeing 720 and finally the AD year at 7th. Crouch, Swale (talk) 18:30, 2 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support per nom. There's no clear primary topic (the pageviews of the surrounding years make that clear). Move disambiguation page to basename. Paintspot Infez (talk) 18:49, 2 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support – but why don't we do these in batches of 30 or something instead of all these separate discussions needing comments? Dicklyon (talk) 18:58, 2 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
There are nuanced arguments in most discussions, worth documenting to avoid future litigation. That's the way we evolve best practices. — JFG talk 19:01, 2 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I can see how some years would have concerns that others wouldn't. Red Slash 23:48, 2 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunatelly that would be difficult, I have suggested that at User talk:Crouch, Swale#Will you be starting a "101" or "666" RM? but indeed I (and it appears Paintspot to) agrees that the current system is best, mainly because each year has a different set of meanings with different views/long-term significance. Crouch, Swale (talk) 19:04, 2 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
How many years actually are primary topics for their three-digit number? 729 has been suggested. It scores 82% on pageviews, on the very generous assumption that no one visited the year page accidentally, and other criteria are difficult to assess for numbers. Certes (talk) 20:08, 2 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support – I would argue for Boeing 707 to be elevated to primary topic, but that's for another discussion. Year 707 is definitely not primary under our criteria. Even PT criterion #2 of "long-term significance" is not met by this year: that's indeed a long-term meaning but it was not a particularly significant year. — JFG talk 19:00, 2 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support, and per JFG, the airplane should be first or second in the lede of the disamb page. Randy Kryn (talk) 19:15, 2 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. The year gets about 29% of the total pageviews for "707 (something)". Even that is about twice as many views as similar years such as 705, so it's likely that many of its visitors meant to go elsewhere, taking the share down to 15%. Although less clear cut than 112, the year is not a primary topic. Certes (talk) 20:08, 2 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. See my comments at Talk:123 (disambiguation)#Requested move 2 December 2019. Narky Blert (talk) 20:29, 2 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per WP:PT and Orange (colour) Red Slash 23:48, 2 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per nom. With the number's use in titles of other things, it's evident there's no clear primary topic (the pageviews of the surrounding years make that clear). Move disambiguation page to basename. Paintspot Infez (talk) 00:35, 3 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
