I removed the following bullet about Daniel N. Cooke:

  • 714 was the actual badge number of Lieutenant Daniel N. Cooke, Los Angeles Police Department Press Relations Officer who was a technical advisor on the Jack Webb shows Dragnet and Adam 12.

I removed it because it's unclear which came first, the badge or the series. The LAPD press release makes it clear that Webb gave the badge to Cooke and not the other way around... http://www.lapdonline.org/releases/1999/99_05/media.htm --SeanO 19:41, Mar 19, 2005 (UTC)
