ironic?[edit]

I admit my error. You can look at my bickering documented in the archive if you really care about it. Teply 22:05, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

sterile neutrinos ???[edit]

As far as I know, ANTARES has nothing to do with the search for any sterile neutrinos predicted by string theory. It is definitely none of its official goals. Also, I cannot think of any way a neutrino telescope could be sensitive to anything like that - especially as ANTARES has no true capability to study oscillations (if that is what the author had in mind - the infamous LSND-KARMEN controversy, which has recently been resolved in favour of KARMEN). Please feel free to try to persuade me of the opposite :) GenghisDon 07:53, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am going to delete this reference soon, if nobody objects.GenghisDon (talk) 10:40, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Energy Range[edit]

In the article, the interesting energy range for ANTARES ist stated as 1E11-1E21 eV. While the lower figure is correct, the upper figure is definitely too high, in particular for any astrophysical models currently in discussion. 100TeV (1E14 eV) is a more reasonable figure, of course barring some very special top-down models. Call for References[edit]

The Article lacks references for quite a few statements. I would be very happy if somebody could add some. GenghisDon (talk) 13:08, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
