Comment 2008[edit]

Yep, 724 in Kenilworth, I used to drop in every once in a while until they removed it around 1986. It was near Peterman Road on the east side of the highway, now part of towpath park I think. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.162.77.10 (talk) 18:45, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Untitled[edit]

I've done an extensive amount of research on the history of the Rosedale Diner, and although my resources include several people close to the situation, I am always looking for additional sources. For instance, the person who posted that the diner was ultimately destroyed by the Ridge Fire Company has a specific fact I was previously unfamiliar with. I would love to have a discussion with that person to find out what else they may know that I don't. I'm pretty much a Wiki novice, so I don't know if members are able to exchange e-mail addresses, or if we just limit our exchanges to these discussion boards.
My primary unanswered question at the moment is trying to determine exactly why a potential sale of the dilapidated diner from its owner, Bill Faulk, to Daryl Hall, fell through. These discussions took place in early 1983, shortly before the diner was ultimately scrapped. I've seen rumors that Faulk demanded a ridiculously high sale price (perhaps a million dollars), but I haven't really been able to confirm them with a reliable source. That notion is also contrary to a newspaper article around that time in which Faulk expressed a desire to sell the diner to Hall.
So, if anyone out there has any information on why that sale fell through, or just wants to discuss what they know about the Rosedale Diner, I would be seriously interested and sincerely grateful. Thank you.Brilliantine Slick (talk) 10:50, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I accidentally deleted the two posts previous to mine! I am so sorry! As I said, Wikipedia novice here. To those whose comments I unintentionally removed, I hope you will re-post and elaborate further.Brilliantine Slick (talk) 10:57, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Led Zeppelin?[edit]

I recall hearing that Led Zeppelin were influenced by this album in a big way back in the early 70s... or that they at least listened to it a lot while on tour. I don't think this came to me in a dream. But I am not sure where I heard it first. Jackbox1971 (talk) 03:20, 26 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
