Regarding this, I guess I should have specified that I was looking for something to support the statement that Abrau-Dyurso consists of two locations, which, judging from how the sentence is structured, are not contiguous. Thanks.—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 17:41, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have been there as a child, and I may assure you that Abrau and Durso are geographically distinct settlements. Try googling for "от Абрау до Дюрсо". --Ghirla-трёп- 18:41, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
"Слово к делу не пришьёшь" :) I've added something I quickly found, but would you by any chance happen to know of any better source?—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 12:36, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think anyone is likely to dispute the fact. Compare the location of Lake Abrau and the Durso river on this map. --Ghirla-трёп- 10:21, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the map—I didn't have a map of the area that detailed, hence the uncertainty on my part.—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 12:29, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You are welcome. --Ghirla-трёп- 13:08, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I finally found something that confirms that Abrau-Dyurso and Dyurso are two separate villages, not parts of the same village, and made the corrections to the article.—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 19:42, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why not Durso?[edit]

On the web at google, search for "abrau durso". You will get many hit to websites shuch as the winery. Why not change the name of the page to that Durso instead of Dyurso —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.88.211.30 (talk) 05:42, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Spelling is per Wikipedia romanization guidelines. Thanks.—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 12:39, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
