Adaptable vs. Adaptive[edit]

In John Shutt's masters thesis he calls the grammars "adaptable" and not "adaptive".

This is apparently categorized as philosophy. It should probably be computer science. 24.118.110.44 (talk) 06:46, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In reference to the recent deletion[edit]

In reference to the recent deletion of an entire branch of this research, my work is cited in the following third party sources.

COI Check flag[edit]

I have flagged this for COI check myself because, as a researcher in this field, I am going to voluntarily recuse myself from any further undos of the recent removals. I find this an unsightly process. I defer to the community, et cetera. The citation list above is sufficient reference. In particular I suggest Grune et al for a quick check. A quick search on "Jackson" is sufficient. QTJ (talk) 20:53, 27 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Jackson removal issue[edit]

Following a post at the COI noticeboard I've reviewed the Jackson deletion, and reverted it. The basis for my actions are a) QTJ seems to have put most of this article together, but refs to QTJ work are a fractional part of the page. He has provided a number of refs to his work, and the deleter of the Jackson references has yet to engage beyond drive-by deletions. Until better argument against the inclusion of Jackson work is provided here, I'm minded that the presumption should be in Jackson's favour. --Tagishsimon (talk) 02:46, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Addition of new Dynamic Syntax page[edit]

Hello all,

I am going to set up a new page for Dynamic Syntax the linguistic. I think this warrants a separate page on its own as distinct from the notions discussed here. The current re-direct will become a link on the new page. 2094gbsn (talk) 17:52, 23 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
