Article name[edit]

In several sources and also in documents of his own era, he is called, and he himself calls himself, "Adolf, king of Romans" - "rex Romanorum". This makes Adolf, Roman King, Adolf of Holy Roman Empire, Adolf, King of Romans and even Adolf, German King (Philip, rex Teutonicum...) quite acceptable names for the article. In-line citations[edit]

I translated this article German Wikipedia, but the article there lacked in-line citations. If someone with access to the German-language sources could add these, it would be appreciated. Alternatively, someone could find additional English language references to add that back up the German material.--Texas Whitt (talk) 10:25, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

minor nobility[edit]

I removed the term "minor nobility" and replaced it with "the reigning count of a small German state". Since the Nassau's were rulers of an albeit small territory they can not be classified as minor nobility. Gerard von Hebel (talk) 10:30, 4 July 2012 (UTC)
