Name[edit]

Isn't it 'Alfonso'? ~i

No. See the article Alfonso. The Ogre 21:39, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

Place of death[edit]

The article states that retired to a monastery in Sintra where he died in 1481. There may be a monastery in Sintra, but as far as I know, it was constructed later. In other sources I have found the information that he died in Sintra, "on his way" to a monastery for his retirement. It may be the "Convento de Varatojo", but I don´t know. Any comments on that? – Xauxa (talk) 17:33, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

King of Galicia[edit]

I removed his title as King of Galicia because the part of the old Kingdom of Galicia he ruled was ruled under his title as King of Portugal. His claim to Galicia was the same as his claim to Castile and Leon, just a claim.--The Emperor's New Spy (talk) 23:53, 31 July 2012 (UTC)

Unless you can source it, please refrain from including it. And nothing of it is stated in the article itself. You said he was acclaimed King but I don't see any source/info to back that up and even if he was acclaimed, he has to recognized by historian as a Galician monarch to fit the boots or you just have another Anthony, Prior of Crato or Beatrice of Portugal.--The Emperor's New Spy (talk) 04:43, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
