In 2018, the Solomon Islands, which originally finished second in the 2018 OFC U-16 Championship, were found by the Oceania Football Confederation to have deliberately fielded overage player Chris Satu during the tournament. As a result, they forfeited their results and also their place in the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup. [15] - Actually the Solomon Islands played in that tournament and lost all three games, 5-0, 7-0, 8-0.

Also, there were three African teams caught cheating during the qualification process to the 2019 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations, plus Guinea caught cheating during the actual tournament and losing its spot in the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.154.192.130 (talk) 00:27, 6 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I checked and Japan & Nigeria didnt play on the 1999 u17 tournament, both werent qualified for it. This is actually fraud info. They did took part of the u20 world cup that year, but never played each other. Japan actually lost a match 1-2 vs Cameroon, and thats as close as that gossip of 9-0 vs Nigeria goes. Even the reference isnt showing anything. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.125.124.32 (talk) 10:41, 2 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
