Need help with references[edit]

I'm currently searching for sources for this article. After depleting everything I could find on google (most of which looped right back to Wikipedia, others being varied blogs that don't count as reliable), it looks like a copy of the 1911 Encyclopaedia Britannica may be my best bet for getting at least one good source for this article; however, I am also trying to find more sources to make sure that it's properly sourced. If anybody knows other books I might want to look at to meet this purpose, please let me know -- I'll be making a trip to the library for source checking purposes in the next couple of days.
