History and product line[edit]

I reorganized the article this date, having found it a jumble of out-of-sequence half-truths. I also changed the description from Aladdin being a "manufacturer" to to the vaguer term "vendor", as it is not clear from the Aladdin-PMI Web site, whether they manufacture anything anymore. The link to their company history page, accessible from the site map, links back to the site map; they seem to be cagey about saying anything regarding their manufacturing operations or source of products sold under the Aladdin name. My guess is that they've shut down most, if not all, U.S.-based manufacturing and are now simply importers of Aladdin-branded junk made in China. Short of performing original research and calling Aladdin-PMI directly for information, that's all I can do for now. —QuicksilverT @ 17:18, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal[edit]

The article Aladdin (food & beverage containers) ought to be merged into this article. The two articles are clearly about the same subject. -- John Broughton (♫♫) 23:02, 5 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Agree that should be merged, but argue for the reverse direction because the brand continues, while the company has folded (15 years ago). Given that the proposal is rather old, I've done this boldly. Klbrain (talk) 08:58, 10 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
