Pronunciation[edit]

What is the pronunciation of z in Manzoni - [dz] or [ts]?

According to Cassell's Italian Dictionary, manzo is one of the [dz] words, but is the name Manzoni also a [dz] word?

Thanks in advance. --Amir E. Aharoni (talk) 23:36, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Walter Scott[edit]

Someone should add a few lines of the influence of Walter Scott on Manzoni's most famous work. It's widely documented.METRANGOLO1 (talk) 18:42, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The other encyclopedia[edit]

I noticed that the first creation/original version of this article comes from an older encyclopedia where the copyright had expired. There's a fair amount of language/style of writing in the article as it still exists where that original influence such that it doesn't sound terribly encyclopedia in the contemporary Wikipedia style. There's another encyclopedia that copies much of the language from this article. I don't know whether Wikipedia copied Istrainet, or whether Istrianet copied Wikipedia.Novellasyes (talk) 14:00, 25 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
