Content biography[edit]

This discussion was begun on Bax4aa74's talk page. I have been following the editing war going on over the length of this article. As Gerda Arendt explained, this article was recommended for deletion, so there was an extra effort made to expand it, verifying everything, so that others would see the merits of the article, that the subject is notable and worthy of a page. These efforts were successful and the article was not deleted. It is possible that shortening the article may put it in danger of again being recommended for deletion.

Aside from that, big editorial changes on articles that have more than one active editor are done by consensus. This article qualifies as such a group effort. If you have legitimate reasons for wanting to make certain deletions, present your arguments and let people weigh in on them, supporting or opposing your proposals. Bax4aa74, you must abide by the consensus. That is how things are done at Wikipedia. Edits that persist in opposition of the consensus are considered vandalism. In that case, there are steps that can be taken, such as protection for the article and/or blocking the account of the vandal/s. Please explain your reasons for wanting the article to be less detailed. Keep in mind that doing research on Google is the primary way of getting verification for the articles on Wikipedia, so your complaint about the article being a collection of things found on Google is actually a compliment. Thank you!

If your position is that the article is slanderous or maligns the subject, please see Wikipedia:Contact us/Article problem/Factual error (from subject). Keep in mind, this article is the result of a consensus, so such a claim will have to be proven and cannot simply be asserted.

For your convenience, I have linked several Wikipedia articles to this post so that you can read about Wikipedia rules and policies. This may prove helpful to you when wondering what you should do to avoid problems with your account or in your dealings with other Wikipedians. When you reply, please remember to sign your posts so that it's clear who they're coming from. You sign them by typing 4 tildes like this: ~~~~ and the system will automatically leave your Wikipedia name, a link to your talk page and a time stamp. Please see WP:SIG for more information.
