Is there persuasive evidence that she is best known in English by the untranslated German version of her name? If not, use of it here gives the impression that her birth and/or marriage were considered non-dynastic by the Ysenburg-Budingens and Hanovers, which is not the case. One of the 2 citations given for this usage actually refers to her as "Princess Alexandra" rather than as "Alexandra Prinzessin..." FactStraight (talk) 02:20, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
In Germany, the princess holds elected office under the legal name Alexandra Prinzessin von Hannover, which appears on the ballot and in local news sources. --Caponer (talk) 02:25, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
