Clarification is needed[edit]

There is a discussion about Alinta relations to Alinta Energy. Beagel (talk) 09:09, 12 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Loy Yang B[edit]

It seem conflicted in the reliable source, ABC said it was acquired by Chow Tai Fook Enterprises, the parent company of Alinta Energy, while the Age claimed it was acquired by Alinta Energy. The official site of Alinta Energy, did not list Loy Yang B as assets. Matthew hk (talk) 06:19, 9 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Well, the press release[1] ended the factual error of The Age. Matthew hk (talk) 08:03, 9 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  1. ^ "Loy Yang B Power Station Acquisition" (Press release). Alinta Energy. 24 November 2017. Retrieved 9 November 2018. Alinta Energy's owner, Chow Tai Fook Enterprises (CTFE), has today entered into a conditional binding agreement to acquire the Loy Yang B power station.
I suggest that instead of removing any mention of Loy Yang B, the previous text in the article should be corrected. As you noted, the acquisition was reported in connection with Alinta, and it would be helpful to readers of this article if it were mentioned here, too. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 09:36, 9 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
