[edit] Reminders, reminders

I hope this only has to be said once. Please take these points by heart.

This article Talk page is not a forum for discussing the topic of this Wikipedia article (Alpha Kappa Rho). All discussions on this page should focus on improving the article---and improvements are badly needed here, honestly. Any other off-topic discussions that do not help in improving this article will be removed with or without prior notice. So as not to encourage trolls from engaging in a virtual online "frat war", I have removed the entire discussion about Francis Magalona on this Talk page.

For that matter: the Pia Magalona (her WP account is here, you can leave a message on her account's Talk page) herself removed references to Alpha Kappa Rho on the Francis Magalona article on Wikipedia. Her edits speak for themselves, what's done is done. Let this put the debate about his alleged membership to an end.

Please maintain a courteous and respectful tone in your edits, watch your behavior on-Wiki, and avoid getting personal. We are here to write an article on Wikipedia, not to call each other names or to glorify or villify one's fraternity. Spare Wikipedia that, and save them for PinoyExchange or for your own personal blogs.

Finally, do brush up on Wikipedia's policies regarding reliable sources, acceptable links (for your references), neutrality/avoiding bias, notability and verifiability. (You may also want to read the manual of style for some additional pointers.) Do strive to make this article as encyclopedic as possible; Wikipedia articles are not meant to be a directory, a fan page, an online shrine or something similar. I myself will try to edit this article little by little, so do lend a hand. Thanks. --- Tito Pao (talk) 06:57, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

Thank you for clearing that up Pao. I knew the edit war over Francis M's inclusion in that 'members list' had to stop, so I put up the discussion here. I stopped reading the thread around June because all of them were really just trying to insist on him being one of them (under Lenin's a-lie-often-repeated-enough-is-the-truth principle). And considering that my personal connection with this frat was that I had one of their brods expelled nine years ago this month because he made the mistake of messing with me, it is all the more motivating.--Eaglestorm (talk) 06:17, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
