Re: this entry removed:

The AmazonEncore August 10, 2010 release, A Scattered Life, by Karen McQuestion, was notable for being the first self-published Kindle novel optioned for film.

This comes across as astroturfing. For one thing, a novel being optioned for film, and actually being filmed, are two different things. Many books and essays are optioned that never get filmed, it's not that big a deal to get an option. It may be notable in the book article (where it currently gets banner notice in the first paragraph), but not that notable in the article about the publisher, at least not until it's been made into a film.
