Please remove your artwork. People do not need to see that. Ammon should not be represented by some image of a man practicing swordmanship. And please join the discussion about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Teancum#Images_without_reference — Preceding unsigned comment added by Douglas.hawkes (talkcontribs) 05:12, 23 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Not my artwork, and the original contributor stopped contributing; I've have already been dialoging at that location. Also it seems odd for you to reissue my origional invitation, especially using a URL instead of a wikilink, and then not sign your comment here. -- 208.81.184.4 (talk) 19:52, 24 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"Religious text" maintenance tag[edit]

Looking for some opinions here. The article has the maintenance tag re. uncritically using text from a religion/faith system, which it certainly does. However the entire article is about one character within such a text, so it's hard to see how it could be otherwise. It doesn't discuss Latter-day Saint Movement practices, or beliefs outside the existence & history of Ammon, and it does make it clear that Ammon is a Book of Mormon character.

Does the article need more secondary sources (which can only amount to commentaries on the book itself or speculation on the name), or can the tag be removed? Pastychomper (talk) 13:01, 16 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
