I'm going to expand this with some of Vendler's analysis. Diuscorvus (talk) 03:50, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Poem Text[edit]

The text of this poem does not belong on this page; that is the sole purpose of wikisourse, and since it is there, there is no reason to recreate it here. I have tried to add a bit of info and format the page a bit better, but more work is necessary than I am able to provide at the moment.:)Mrathel (talk) 17:42, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

First para: should read 'Ireland' or 'Eire' not 'Northern Ireland' - it didn't exist at that point in time!86.25.202.159 (talk) 13:25, 2 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not only did it not exist, the fight was for the idnependene of the island of Ireland. However my main point is that I don't agree that the airman is talking about the thrill of "annihilation" but of flying. PhilomenaO'M (talk) 16:57, 28 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
