Taro[edit]

Um. "The older brother Taro was luckier, who returned to Hokkaido University for his retirement, and died at a ripe old age of 15 in 1970." Is this supposed to be sarcasm or is it a mistake? HJV 20:21, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Very confusing[edit]

This article consistently confuses three things: the original actual happenings, the happenings as portrayed in the film, and what happened to dogs "acting" in the film. Please, can someone who knows clarify?--24.85.68.231 (talk) 05:59, 14 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
