I propose to merge Arkansas Highway Patrol into Arkansas State Police. The Former is a division of the later, and the article is misleading because no agency called "Arkansas Highway Patrol" exists.

The Badge on the side of "Highway Patrol Division" marked units reads "Arkansas State Police".

The two statewide law enforcement agencies in Arkansas are the Arkansas State Police (ASP) and Arkansas Highway Police (AHP). There are multiple divisions and districts of both the Arkansas State Police and the Arkansas Highway Police (itself a division of Arkansas Department of Transportation.

AHP is not a valid abrivation for any part of the Arkansas State Police, however, it is often used as an abbreviation for the Arkansas Highway Police. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fugutaboutit (talkcontribs) 23:53, 11 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
