World[edit]

Asian art is not limited to asia with its influences reaching to all corners of the world. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.235.3.218 (talkcontribs) 09:03, 28 April 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation and article scope[edit]

This articles's current status as a disambiguation page seems to imply A) that there are three art styles of East Asia, and B) that these three styles are distinct enough that no further discussion of East Asian art is necessary. I am certainly no art historian, but this seems a strange status for a page like this. If Eastern Asian art is so lacking in similarity, then it probably shouldn't be treated as its own page here.

I wonder whether this page might be better to simply redirect to History of Asian art § East Asian art? — HTGS (talk) 10:04, 8 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
