Puzzlement[edit]

In 1878 he became interested by a tour in America

What does this mean, exactly? Interested in what? --Michael K SmithTalk 15:17, 29 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Excellent question. The sentence doesn't make much sense, does it? I have a copy of the standard bio, but it is boxed up and I cannot get to it right away. When I do I'll see what it says, unless someone in the meanwhile is able to clarify. Mddietz (talk) 00:00, 30 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Exploration of royal crypts[edit]

The exploration discussed in Historical Memorials.. led to the discovery of hitherto unknown royal offspring. I owe this knowledge to the kind contributors to Notes and Queries in March or April of 1912. All the best: Rich Farmbrough00:10, 29 May 2015 (UTC).
