A fact from Ashoka's Hell appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 23 April 2013 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:

(edit conflict) I removed the excess quotations and the tag. If you still disagree with the amount of quotations please free free to remove them instead of adding back the tag. I added the quotations for easy verification of the crucial points regarding the contents of the article. But if we must deface the article because of that then let them go.
