Universe people[edit]

Checking UFO religions reveals Universe people which seems to make some Ashtar-related claims. The main website appears to be almost a parady of itself (unintentional?) but probably no less valid in this article than the other self proclaimed and unverifiable contactees.—Ash (talk) 09:33, 1 December 2009 (UTC)

Just gonna throw this out here: I'm totally disputing the neutrality of this article. Not to mention its been up for deletion for three years. It's a disjointed cut-and-paste mess and it really smacks of a cult trying to get the "approved" word out rather than a third-party description of an entitiy and the beliefs surrounding it. See any of the pages on Egyptian Gods for comparison. 50.99.43.77 (talk) 13:18, 17 November 2012 (UTC)

Further editing[edit]

Van Tassel appears to have a unique place in the establishment of religious ufology so I'll fill this in. There also seems to be a trail of various channelers claiming the same source, i.e. Ashtar, that can do with more detail. As far as I know, Helland is the only scholar who's written in depth on this movement, and there are other bits and pieces, so these are the WP:RS I'll be using. Where not included, the authors need to be added to the references. I'll do this as I go along. Jyddcc (talk) 22:46, 10 December 2014 (UTC) Jyddcc (talk) 23:09, 12 February 2015 (UTC)

In the Ashtar Command Section text needs editing that doesn't correctly reflect the information from the source, i.e. Helland. Will do this. Jyddcc (talk) 22:37, 15 January 2015 (UTC)

Have removed the Wojcik reference in the Tuella section as it does not contain this material. All the material in this section comes from Helland. Jyddcc (talk) 22:48, 9 February 2015 (UTC)

I’ve deleted the Reece p138 ref to Yvonne Cole, as it does not contain this material. The info is from Helland p173. Have added an accessible reference for the Connecting Link Magazine material from Cole, as can't find this magazine on the web. Jyddcc (talk) 23:09, 12 February 2015 (UTC)

The reference for the text about the Southern Television broadcast under “Developments after the mid-1990s” is not in Helland as claimed, so have deleted this. Obviously, if someone can find a correct reference then re-insert it. It will be intact in the history Jyddcc (talk) 06:45, 13 March 2015 (UTC)
